With the old building in the city and the modern inside to the gallery I thought the contrast between the two worked nicely for this image

I looked across the Gastineau Channel and noticed the low clouds on Douglas Island with the fresh snow from some rain which had fallen earlier in the day on the peaks

It was just past the new moon so it was quite dark in the area with an occasional mountain biker passing me from their evening ride on the mountain

As I was crossing the new pedestrian bridge near Union Station I noticed a sense of patterns on the ground and in front of me which stopped me in my tracks

Downtown Building Sunlight Reflection Size:20"x30" With the old building inWalking around Denver this morning on a cool clear morning I was looking for something I have not noticed before while working around in the city. I found there is plenty of items which fall into this category but not just with the new construction happening at this time. This morning I noticed the light was mostly straight down the the numbered streets in the downtown area (if you are not familiar with downtown Denver they run on a SE NW direction).
