Sunset at Dixon Entrance Size:18"x24" Over the summer the lake

Over the summer the lake was drained as a construction project was started which will provide some additional separation from Interstate 70 as well as other improvements in the area

In the past five years I have explored many places around Denver and the western United States as part of this project

The position of the structure helps tell the story of the snow with the backdrop of the growing City of Denver

The lines and angles are intriguing on their own

Sunset at Dixon Entrance Size:18"x24" Over the summer the lakeWhile heading south to Bellingham on the M V Malaspina there are some limited open water crossing along the inside passage the path Alaska Marine Highways makes the journey. On the first of these we crossed the Dixon Entrance which is also where the border is located between the United States and Canada. During this crossing the waters were quite calm which made the for an enjoyable sunset on the deck during this March evening.
