Colorado and spent a weekend exploring the high country in the area

With the dusting of snow the downtown Denver area received from this latest storm I was careful to plan ahead on the way to a scene as with this path in the park

On a Saturday I made my way towards the M itself and climbed a little beyond

In early July I headed to Cheesman Park to capture sunset over Denver

When you climb the steps to the public area in the dome of the Colorado State Capitol you start to get the sense of the detail of the dome itself

With the ice floating in the water over time the waves start to make their mark and it can be seen in the patterns within the ice.
