Crowned guards radius is cut to make them easier to shape and finish. Thickness is 1 2" at center and reduces to 1 4" at radius. 1 2" x 1" x 4" long. Lugged guards have a smooth radius for ease in shaping and finishing. 1 2" x 1" x 4" long. Crowned and lugged guards radius has been cut at each step to make shaping and finishing easier. 3 4" x 1" x 4" long.
