King George III in the style of Allan Ramsay Dining Covered in Wemyss Fiora SeasprayA specially commissioned oil painting on canvas captures King George III's likeness in the style of Allan Ramsay, circa 1761 62. The portrait depicts the King adorned in his coronation robes, replicating Ramsay's original coronation portrait from 1761. Ramsay produced numerous replicas of this portrait. Distributed to Britain's newly acquired colonial territories, which then symbolized the authority of the burgeoning British empire. Born as the eldest
