J1708 9-pin Female to 6-pin Male Adapter Inc assumes no liability forOlder heavy equipment use a J1708 commiunication standard to interface with test equipment and devices using a round 6 pin Deutsch connector. Newer heavy equipment use a 9 pin round Deutsch connector and the J1939 standard. The 9 pin connector usually also has the J1708 interface on two of the 9 pins.
